Northtown - Large Group

Disc Golf Journal 11:37:00 PM 11/23/2025

It was a cool morning when we met up at Northtown at 8:30. Today's players were:  Steve, Dave, Lif, Chris, Keith, Bob, Adam and Heady.  Adam is in town from Alabama and has only played a few times.  He has natural athletic ability, after nine holes he pretty much figured it out.  Temperatures were in the 50's when we started.  Mostly cloudy skies and enough of a breeze to make you think about it.  Course conditions were a little muddy, the was some water in the creek.  There were many other players on the course. I played a little below my average today.  I wasn't getting the distance on my drives and I hit too many trees.  I didn't miss any putts that I should have made.  Adam did very well for the first time playing this course.  He had the shot of the day on #11 with a 90 foot throw in for eagle.  Steve came very close to an ace on #12. There were seven birdies made today:  Steve(3), Chris(1), Lif(1), Dave(1), Adam(1).  Adam also had an eagle on #11.  No discs found and one disc lost.  My throwaway sleeps with the fishes on #12. Steve starts us off! Bob on the fairway Adam with a nifty putt Adam retrieves his disc from the icy waters Refreshment break Caught one! Adam - Drives left handed Down the middle Steve Big Dave, total concentration.  Birdie! Adam - Flicks right handed Crossing the Rubicon Nice follow thru Adam Adam bravely sinks a very long eagle putt Steve with a birdie attempt Lif with a birdie on #13 Keith fishes his disc from the green slime Dangerous putt  Keith make face Lif taking off.   Chris has balls Steve's approach on #18 Chris finishes with a birdie Steve with a birdie on #18 Steve is presented the Crystal Weasel Trophy Official Scorecard
