Disc Golf Journal 9:38:00 PM 11/09/2025

Most of the group met up at Macho Tacos at 8:00 for a delicious breakfast before heading south to San Marcos to play the Flying Armadillo course.  We haven't played this course in four years and that's too long.  Today's players were:  Steve, Lif, Dave, Chris, Keith, Darden and Heady.  Temperatures were in the upper 50's, skies were sunny and the wind was blowing with gust up to 25mph.  Course conditions were good and there were only a few other players on the course. I played alright, considering that I was contending with a serious hangover.  Many of the fairways on this course are little tight and it is easy to get caught in the rough or behind a tree.  I had some really good drives on the back nine, finally getting some distance with some accuracy.  The wind was a factor and we all hit our share of trees.  I think I only missed one putt.
